Creation history
The project was born out of a teenage hobby of the brand's founder, Sergey Fomin, to find real tight jeans, in cool colors and with a comfortable fit, that could be worn for years. At the time, they could only be found in vintage stores.
These days, branded jeans are everywhere, but it's still hard to find those reliable, tight jeans. Because most jeans are made of lighter, more elastic fabric, often with the addition of synthetics.
The minnim brand was founded in 2016. The goal was to create those “real jeans” made of thick denim that can be worn for years. Those that become more comfortable every day and eventually fit like a second skin. Jeans that you wear for a long time not only because you can, but because you want to. You get real pleasure from them, and thus improve your quality of life.
That's how the story of jeans that improve your feelings of ordinary daily life began in Zaporizhzhia.

Design
Our approach to creating our collections is almost like an architectural design and we are inspired by the principles of the Bauhaus school. We are convinced that clothing design should be dictated by function. For minnim, the laconicism and functionality of the form, the absence of excessive decor and ornaments, and the purity and naturalness of materials are important.
Sustainability in fashion is based on timeless design. That's why we don't try to catch up with trends.
We make jeans that were worn yesterday, last year and more than 30 years ago, and will be worn tomorrow, next year and in 30 years.

and we know everything about them
Production
The creation of jeans has a stage that makes their production unique and special - washing.
This is one of the most difficult stages, where any mistake can ruin the entire batch. And we know this not from textbooks. This is exactly how our first batch of jeans was ruined back in 2016.
Stone washing - is the process of processing denim with special stones and enzymes in large industrial drums. Few people know that blue jeans are originally made from untreated raw denim in indigo color. Only after washing do we get our rich, complex shades.
While experimenting, we conducted many tests and sewed dozens of samples before we were able to achieve our vintage colors. In addition to color, the wash makes denim softer and more pleasant to wear.
By combining technological processing, innovative sewing equipment, dense high-quality textured denim and functional design, we get jeans that will last for at least 8 seasons.

All minnim jeans are produced in sustainable factories certified according to the world's leading textile industry standards GOTS. This ensures the highest standards of wastewater treatment and high standards of working conditions for people.
